ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an extremely crucial role within the Digital Team (a team of 30+ people) where you will be responsible for ensuring the companies brands & global websites run smooth and effectively. This person leads a team of 3 and improves the digital aspects of the business, ensuring that the website operates in line with the companies goals and values. This role is an enterprise scale. 

The main responsibilities include:
  1. Developing Digital Operations: Define and enhance the company's digital operational capabilities, essentially making sure the website functions optimally.
  2. Managing Technology Stack: Oversee and manage the technology used for the website to meet business requirements and priorities.
  3. System Development Lifecycle: Lead or participate in all stages of developing and maintaining the systems that run the website.
  4. Delivering Great User Experiences: Ensure that the website provides excellent experiences for users, making it easy to use and navigate.
  5. Being a Website Platform Expert: Act as an expert on the website platform, helping internal teams understand and use it effectively.
  6. Coordinating Support Teams: Serve as a link between support teams and the development team to address any issues and ensure a smooth operation.
  7. Timely Content Updates: Ensure that content on the website is regularly updated in a timely manner with the support of your team. 
  8. Managing Team: Lead and manage the Website Operations team, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to carry out their responsibilities.
  9. Supporting Agile Ways of Working: Contribute to the company's transition to a cross-functional agile working environment, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
ABOUT YOU: 

We're looking for someone who has experience at enterprise level working in a digital operational role (you could even have come from an IT platform background)

You'll have cross-functional experience and proven experience ensuring websites are ready to launch from a customer perspective and for ongoing management.

You'll have a team of 3 to support you and you'll be responsible for ensuring the websites run smoothly; meet business needs and provide a positive experience for users.  You will a key role in overseeing the technology, coordinating with different teams, and leading efforts to improve and grow the company's digital capabilities.
  • Proven Website Platform configuration experience essential (in a lead capacity) 
  • Excellent numeracy ability and eye for detail
  • Logical thinker who can plan workflow in the most effective manner for the business
  • Good understanding of all aspects of the customer journey
  • Experienced in Windows operating systems and in working with cloud-based apps
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience or exposure would be advantageous
