UX/ UI Designer

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This FinTech SaaS company is taking its sector by storm globally.  With major funding secured, this company is seeing huge growth across its teams in NZ, Australia and the UK.  They have an exceptionally knowledgeable and supportive management team and offer lots of upskilling opportunities.

Their offcies are based in Auckland Central and they do 4 days a week in office 

ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role you will be working as the sole Designer, however you will be collaborating closely with the in house Development team.  
  • Deliver high-quality UX and UI design 
  • Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, engaging design solutions.
  • Create and present journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces
  • Lead user research, including interviews, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to bring ideas to life.
 ABOUT YOU: 
  • 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design for SaaS or digital products.
  • Strong skills with Figma 
  • Strong experience in creating flows, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes that bring clarity to complexity.
  • Hands-on experience running customer research and usability testing, with the ability to turn insights into actionable improvements.
  • A deep understanding of user-centred design principles, accessibility, and information architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
