ABOUT THIS ROLE:
As an experienced Test Engineer, you will develop, maintain and champion the Test Engineering team.  You will have the opportunity to perform research and investigation into industry trends and opportunites aimed at improving the overall test capability. This role will involve engagement with all levels of people across the business and collaboration on projects, in order to maintain the platform and further develop automaton test engineering capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a busy and varied role, and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Use Java programs to develop and maintain automation tests and framework libraries to verify the software functionality and relaibility
  • Develop test automation programs for complex test scenarios
  • Develop and implement API test automation in an agile environment
  • Constantly evaluate and learn from experience to improve and enhance test automation approached and tools
  • Compose and execute test automation to convert manual testing into repeatable, predictable, and automated testing
  • Maintain regression test suite up to date across the platform
  • Address technical issues and facilitate resolution across cross-functional teams
ABOUT YOU:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong Java programming skills
  • Excellent knowledge of API test automation
  • Experience with build tools like Jenkins or similar
  • Experience with leading testing tools (Selenium/Appium/RESTAssured/Cucumber etc) in the market fir test automation and CICD
  • Understanding of how to capture and report on key test automation metrics
