ABOUT THE COMPANY:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Technical Product Owner you will lead the Architecture team and champion their most fundamental technology and future focused technical roadmap for the ecommerce portfolio.  You will bring to life their technical vision, documenting and managing project plans and key milestones.
  
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
  • Product owner for the company's key, cloud-based ecommerce platform
  • Work with the architecture team to deliver technology outcomes which provide high standards of security, performance, quality and customer value
  • Manage the team's funnel of work and expectation of stakeholders
  • Work closely with other Product Owners and internal teams to determine technical requirements for desired outcomes, ensuring customer experience led problem solving
  • Ensure Architecture team work with the product teams to determine the best technical solution for a product
  • Facilitate the Architecture team's support of development teams' testing activities to ensure any final product considers any key technical and architectural requirements or exclusions
  • Apply relevant analytical skills and techniques to understand, validate and articulate challenges and opportunities to improve and sustain the product from a technical perspective and avoid technical debt

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner with a software/architecture background
  • Cloud migration at scale experience
  • Strong understanding of MS Azure platform, capabilities and costs
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision and concepts for a broad audience
  • Agile experience
  • Proven leadership/managerial skills
  • Ability to foresee technical challenges and proactively head of obstacles
  • Strong sense of personal accountability
