ABOUT THE ROLE:
Provide technical leadership and take responsibility for the design, build and operation of the technology infrastructure across the business. Major project work includes a system replacement and hardware refresh.
Reporting to the Platform Manager, you will:
Ensure delivery of infrastructure tasks by both performing and delegating tasks appropriately
Take responsibility for procurement of equipment
Proactively manage the infrastructure environment including forward planning and lifecycle management
Produce infrastructure design documents showing build and capacity plans
Manage supplier relationships for service delivery and process improvement
ABOUT YOU:
Previous systems engineering experience within a high-availability environment
Strong skills with VMware and hardware
Proven track record of infrastructure design and build
Skilled in capacity planning and managing patching processes
Experience managing third party suppliers
