ABOUT THE ROLE: You will be joining a team developing cutting-edge IoT systems used in critical environments. This is a hands-on role covering the entire software lifecycle - research, architecture, coding, testing, deployment and documentation. You'll have the freedom to innovate and grow whilst working with a close-knit, super talented team.
ABOUT YOU: We are seeking someone with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience, and ideally a tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field. In addition you should bring:
Strong skills with C & C++ and/or Golang
Familiarity with Git & Jira
Exposure to Linux networking and routers
Experience with software testing: unit, integration and system testing as well as test automation (e.g. Pytest).
Experience with software productivity and configuration management tools
Familiarity with version control best practices, branching models, and release management.
Awareness of secure coding best practices and familiarity with cybersecurity in IoT systems.
Strong documentation and communication skills, with experience writing technical specs and user documentation.
Experience with Python or Javascript desirable.
Experience with Embedded Linux e.g. Yocto & Bitbake desirable.
