Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be part of a cross-functional product team and will deliver production-ready computational algorithms. You will also work closely with the research team to translate their work into properly engineered code and carry out knowledge transfer activities.

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be part of a cross-functional product team and will deliver production-ready computational algorithms. You will also work closely with the research team to translate their work into properly engineered code and carry out knowledge transfer activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Improve the tech platform’s accuracy and performance by designing and developing production-quality algorithms.
- Take ownership of the algorithms you build through the full product lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
- Play a key role in product team activities and rituals such as stand-ups, retros and pair programming.
- Ensure that your algorithms meet regulatory requirements
ABOUT YOU:
- Commercial coding experience with tech such as JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Experience with image processing and computational geometry
- Machine learning and AI experience would be advantageous
- 3D rendering experience would be a huge bonus
- The ability to build cross-functional relationships and share knowledge across teams
