ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading FinTech solution company that helps their clients grow sales and increase customer loyalty by giving them the opportunity to integrate sales and promotions into their payments. Their clients are Australia's largest retailers and service providers who not only they provide payment solutions for but also consult to them too. 

Their founding company is listed on the Australian stock exchange and has a range of different technology businesses. There is amble opportunity to work of different projects across the group down the track if you chose to. 

They are a customer-driven organisation and are looking at setting up their team in NZ. 

Remote working initially and the opportunity to collaborate and have an office space as the team grows in NZ. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

They are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who is about 60% user research and 40% design. You'll ensure the customers requirements are being met through discovery, framing and iterative development and collaborating closely with a team of other Designers, Engineers, Product Managers and other subject matter experts. The role demands strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, customer empathy, humility and an appreciation for agile and user-centred design values, principles and practices.

Other key parts to the role:
  • Lead end to end product design through discovery, framing, and iterative development and delivery. 
  • Undertake research to understand user experience and test solutions for continuous design optimisation. 
  • Ensure usability of web/app interfaces, define web/app graphic designs and interface designs for our web/app portals and ensure our product meets brand standards.
ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 6 years UX Research and Design experience specifically contextual enquiries and design software (Adobe CC, Sketch, and InVision)
  • Solid understanding of how to implement material design
  • You are experienced in delivering the entire design process -from research through to design and implementation
  • Wide experience with data visualisation, branding, visual identity and testing designs with users
  • You have a portfolio that showcases your strategic mindset
  • Great communication
