ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The software side of a leading global FMCG food provider. They develop the global ecommerce platform for their group in over 35 countries worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior or aspiring Senior Product Manager to take their career to the next level. Their offices are located in Epsom. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for their customer ecommerce platform which places millions of orders a year. You will be the champion of their digital application and it's contribution to the success of their business globally. 

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator who comes from a strong commercial software product background. You will be self-directed and own the definition of the strategic roadmap contributing to the internal products value to stakeholders, most importantly their customers. 

There is ample opportunity to own all aspects of this role and grow into a Head of Product position. 

ABOUT YOU:

• You will be a confident Product Manager with proven experience in delivering business outcomes with a material impact. 
• Comfortable engaging with, and developing relationships with the businesses internal and external stakeholders. You will understand how to translate these needs into the Products vision and be comfortable directing this function. 
• Be optimistic and solution focused in your approach to solving problems. 
• Be passionate about creating effective and innovative technology solutions that users love and appreciate.

YOU WILL:

• Be comfortable being a self-starter and self-directed in this role. 
• Understand customer requirements by maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Be the champion of the product vision reflecting evolving business strategy. 
• Own the definition of the product roadmap. 
• Identify and articulate problems in the business that their solutions will deliver the most considerable benefit too along with expected outcomes and success measures. 
• Support the wider product and development team for feature uptake and implementation plans. 
• Develop and implement the 'Voice of the Customer' platform by utilising their customer insight analytics. 

  
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

• Experience as an IT Product Manager in a B2B or Sales environment.
• Excellent internal/external stakeholder management skills. 
• Experience working in high-performing teams - there are no direct reports in this role at this point in time. 
• Experience in translating customer needs and experiences by using design thinking methodologies leading to successful solutions. 
• Passionate about IT and providing solutions to real business problems.
