ABOUT THE ROLE: They are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to take ownership of their Flutter based mobile app. This is already in active development, and your first mission will be to help with the final push to launch this on iOS and Android.
Post-launch, the app will be foundational to the future of the business and product, becoming the core way users engage with the platform. You will play a key role in scaling the product, evolving the experience and setting the technical direction for mobile within the organisation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Complete the final development stages and deliver the app to release.
Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to deliver high-quality features.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Flutter.
Ensure smooth performance, robust state management, and responsive UI.
Integrate with APIs and backend services for reliability and scalability.
Establish best practices around testing, CI/CD, and release management.
Mentor other developers and help grow the mobile capability
Contribute to product strategy and roadmap once live.
ABOUT YOU:
5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with 3+ in Flutter.
Strong knowledge of Dart, Flutter’s widget system, and cross-platform nuances.
Experience shipping apps to the App Store and Play Store.
Solid understanding of UX, mobile design principles, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with backend integration (REST, authentication).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership.
Collaborative mindset and great communication skills.
Bonus: prior experience launching a mobile app from pre-release to production.
