ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an exciting role where you'll take your business analysis and delivery skills to the next level and partner with the business to surface demand for technology and IT effort, prioritise initiatives, develop product roadmaps and work with the business to identify problems that can be solved or improved with technology (leveraging return on technology investments).
This role has a large delivery component where you’ll be heavily involved in working closely with the Senior Exec Team, fostering relationships with the business, understanding what could be done better and asking all the questions to work out improvement of process and delivering on technical solutions. You’ll also be involved in mentoring and supporting more junior BAs in the team.
Engage and work with staff across multiple business units and technology teams, accurately representing the needs of each and facilitating common understanding and trade-off decisions.
Translate complex and diverse stakeholder needs into appropriate analysis deliverables that enable solution recommendations and delivery.
Conduct analyses of the current state and future state, examining the existing conditions and identifying areas for improvement and potential future developments.
Collaborate with solution architects to assist in the definition of technical solutions to meet the business needs.
Provide assistance to testers to develop and execute test plans and scripts.
Act as the intermediary between the business users and the Technology business unit, facilitating effective communication and understanding between the two parties.
Support project managers in the delivery of projects and, where required, help in the project management of small projects.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
Provide guidance, support and coaching to less experienced team members.
ABOUT YOU:
3+ years' experience in Business Analysis with a delivery focus.
Must have the skillset to understand the business, its pain points and goals and to identify where process improvements and technology can add value.
Are used to dealing with business stakeholders and technical teams; can translate technical terms for the business and advocate for the business with technical teams to ensure the solution meets requirements and desired business outcomes.
Proficient in applying a diverse range of business analysis techniques, displaying comfort and expertise in utilising various Business Analysis methodologies.
Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have experience working with Microsoft products.
Have the ability to understand the detail of business activities in the context of the bigger strategic organisational goals.
