ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an integral part of the digital and development team, you will play a key role in delivering a world-class product. As the QA Lead you will assist in strategy and concepts for Automation testing and be very comfortable hands on the tools delivering change. You will lead the strategic direction for the QA function and advise on best practice around tools, methodology and process. 

You'll have the opportunity to explore new tools and new areas of tech than can assist in the QA of their products. 

Use a range of automation toolsets to help improve the efficiency of QA activity including automated integration and functional testing. 

Working broadly across the business your good communication and influencing skills will be crucial to support a broad range of small and large initiatives. 

This is an exciting opportunity to deeply partner with the project and product teams and understand their needs and support the company on their mission to be the best in their field.

You'll provide leadership and management to a small team of QA's.

ABOUT YOU: 

  • A proven ability to communicate and coach a quality mindset, and associated product quality skills.
  • Experience setting up and working with Automation frameworks.
  • A bias toward making quality visible and observable through monitoring approaches and well defined measurements. Familiarity with utilising the Accelerate metrics as indicators for improving delivery efficiency and quality.
  • The ability to clearly communicate and advocate for practices consistent with the quality engineering strategy and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and a history of working as part of a collaborative software development process.
  • A natural curiosity and proven ability to learn about multiple areas of a business - engineering, sales, marketing, finance, design and more.
  • Practical expertise and leadership in test automation is desirable.
