Job description

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This SaaS business is shaping the future of their sector, providing their customers with delightful digital experiences, and helping them focus on what matters. Working here means joining a tight-knit, collaborative team that values craftmanship, experimentation and plenty of office-dog cuddles.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an exciting time to join this business as they spin up an NZ first, greenfields product that will live as a stand-alone service while integrating deeply with their existing platform.  You'll take it from concept through launch and onto rapid growth.

Reporting to the CTO, you'll be the connective tissue between engineering, design, internal stakeholders, partners and customers.  This is a key hire that will turn big picture vision into shippable milestones.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Shape the roadmap, translating strategy into value-driven epics, user stories and clear priorities
  • Drive delivery by partnering with engineering and design leads to hit milestones, unblock teams and maintain quality
  • Interview users, analyse data and validate assumptions to size opportunities
  • Communicate with stakeholders, keeping leadership and cross-functional teams aligned on progress and risks
  • Co-ordinate go-to-market plans, craft messaging and measure post-launch success
  • Own the lifecycle, tracking KPIs, iterating on features and managing backlog once the product is live
ABOUT YOU:
  • 3+ years experience in SaaS product management, shipping customer-facing features end-to-end
  • Proven ability to balance discovery and delivery work in an Agile environment
  • Strong technical literacy - you'll be able to discuss APIs, data models and cloud architecture with engineers
  • Strong stakeholders management skills
  • The ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured plans
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, low-ego mindset
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
  • Competitive salary plus employee share scheme
  • Work in a dynamic startup environment
  • Professional growth and development opportunities
  • Dog friendly office - they may distract you with their cuteness
  • Make a meaningful impact in an industry ripe for change
