ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is based in Dunedin. You'd be keen to move to a new city! 
  
This is a key position responsible for overseeing the product management of their payments & financial systems product. There are 2 other Product Managers who have newly joined the team who you'd also be working closely with. You'll be managing the modernisation of their loan management and financial payments. 
  
This is a very exciting time to be joining the company as they have upgraded all their technology to the newest platforms and tools.

You will play a critical role in leading the product lifecycle management process, from ideation to scoping, build, delivery, and launch. 

Responsible for the product evolution, customer experience, and business performance, their Product Managers are accountable for end-to-end product lifecycle, and maintaining both trajectory and awareness of market drivers and industry trends. 
  
You’ll be reporting into the Head of Product. 
  
Some of your key responsibilities in this role include: 
  • Create and maintain a long-term product vision and roadmaps.
  • Work with a range of data and analytics and product discovery tools to drive the evolution of customer-led products and optimise performance and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers and business stakeholders to ensure that strategic planning is aligned with the wider Product landscape and business strategy.
  • Work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure that all parties are aligned with their vision and goals. Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the product development process.
  • Lead discussions with key business stakeholders where necessary to assess the value of prioritising product enhancements.
ABOUT YOU
  • At least two years’ experience in a product role within payments; open banking; fintech.
  • Experience working with third-party SaaS platforms and APIs.
  • A self-starter mentality, be someone who can work at both a strategic and tactical level.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Product Management and Agile principles, with proven success using these best practice approaches to resolve complex problems and continually strengthening the performance of the product.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, adaptable to change and a critical thinking mindset.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
