ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experience Product Lead to work within a hybrid Payments team, supporting excellent delivery in a timely manner.

The team is facing deep technical challenges involving fast moving and large volumes of transaction data, high availability, fast querying, long-term storage and much more.  This is a challenging role, and not for the faint hearted.
They are integrating into a huge variety of systems, each bringing their unique challenges, and have designed an event-driven, cloud-based integration layer built on modern approaches, which sits as the nervous system of their engineering ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clearly communicating the “why” of prioritised work and how this will achieve measurable progress towards objectives
• Gathering and translating business requirements into user stories
• Refining user stories, breaking down work to deliver value and maintaining a high-quality backlog
• Facilitating agile ceremonies that produce solid deliverables and outcomes
• Providing transparent reporting on progress and escalating as needed
• Vendor management to oversee and guide external development teams

  
ABOUT YOU:

• Proven senior level experience in a product role within a cross-functional agile environment
• Previous banking/payments experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation
• Able to think long term and near term at a detailed level to cope with complexity
• Able to communicate with engineers and architects to allow for effective delivery of features and associated success criteria
• Experience building operational processes
