ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join this business as a Principal Frontend Engineer. We are seeking someone who is hungry to make an impact and play a pivotal role in shaping the user interface of this company’s products. Leading the frontend discipline, you will ensure they are building a scalable platform that enables the product team to deliver consistent value at a fast pace. You will be architecturally minded and not afraid to take ownership of the domain, while working closely with the product, design and engineering teams. To be successful, you’ll need to be a hands-on coder with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to think strategically to contribute to the overall design and user experience.
ABOUT YOU:
A solid track record as a frontend engineer
Experience working with modern cloud-based distributed systems, ideally AWS
Experience working in a cross-functional development team in an agile environment
Product oriented with a passion for customer experience, and able to solve real-life customer problems
Experience with any frontend tech stack. React Native is highly desirable
Super passionate about what you do and eager to continue learning
A sound understanding of how to develop testable systems and write great automated tests
An excellent understanding of development processes such as version control, continuous integration/delivery, code reviews and pair programming
