This role is responsible for the technical leadership and design of this organisations cloud capabilities, IT infrastructure and environments, with the primary focus on cloud platforms. You will need to understand specific business needs and then work closely with various internal teams and external partners to deliver solutions to address these challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a busy and varied role and your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensure that all systems and cloud capabilities are designed to meet company requirements for performance, security, compliance and availability
- Leadership and expertise in cloud solutions - including PaaS and SaaS, while also contributing to Cloud FinOps practices
- Developing and overseeing technical designs and optimising cloud usage and costs
- Ensuring that cloud based solutions align with strategic objectives
- An understanding of mid to large scale complex e-commerce systems
- A strong understanding and experience designing and operating public cloud platforms
- Experience in designing and operating on-premises infrastructure systems and automated deployments
- Proven experience leading and delivering cloud platform architectures that drive positive business outcomes
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maturing Cloud FinOps practices
- Experience working in a highly disciplined environment, working to the highest standards of security, integrity, responsibility and responsiveness
- Experience with Azure
