There is the opportunity for this role to be remote NZ for the right person. 


We are looking for a NodeJS Developer to join their development team on a contract basis for an initial 3-6 month contract.

Their tech stack is NodeJS, MongoDB, Java, Python. 

You will help design, develop and maintain their technology. Working with a growing team, this role will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to further expand their platform capability. 

You'll be working with a team that is 70+ talented professionals with operations spanning New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. They are looking for highly skilled, motivated, and resourceful people to join our journey.

You will be working on ground breaking solutions within the Blockchain space based on the latest technologies.

  • Work in a global team, delivering SaaS software and innovative mobile applications.
  • Be part of the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design, through to development, deployment, and operation.
  • Work with Platform & Security Engineers on infrastructure, quality, and deployment pipelines, to help ensure security, quality, and reliability.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, and provide leadership and mentorship to associate software engineers.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to plan, design, and scope new features, and identify opportunities for enhancements.
  • Participate in estimation and planning work with an adaptive (iterative/agile) approach, with local and remote colleagues.
  • Supporting the design team in realizing their vision by building fast, scalable, intuitive, and user-friendly digital engineering systems.
  • Utilize modern build tooling and source code versioning to practice continuous integration and delivery to deploy to production multiple times per day.
  • Ensuring that the knowledge acquired is shared across the organization and built into the agile delivery teams as a discipline
  • Staying up to date with the latest tech innovations and assessing their value.
  • Be responsible for your own test coverage, including unit, integration, and automated functional tests
  • Own your code all the way to production, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a startup environment or on a global software team
  • Experience with NodeJS, MongoDB, Java, Python (main tech stack)
  • Ability to effectively manage and correctly prioritize multiple streams of work.
  • High drive and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and project details.
  • Strong problem solving skills, a keen sense of ownership, and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Team player with excellent English language skills.
