ABOUT THE COMPANY: 

A lead e-commerce brand in the health and wellness sector, this role will see you managing and optimising the businesses performance marketing channels contributing to increased website traffic and conversions.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

As Performance Marketing Specialist, you will play an integral role in the development and growth of this e-commerce businesses scope and reach. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimise their core performance channels.

There is a strong focus on paid search optimisation, including their paid social and affiliated channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute their promotional activity on several performance channels including all paid social and paid search.
  • Google Ad optimisation and monitoring is imperative to this role. You will monitor this daily ensuring it aligns with budget and KPI’s.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure top performing products, brands and categories are campaigned effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain Google Shopping to maximise product and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing and ecommerce team on content strategy and paid social activity to ensure campaign landing pages are optimised.
  • Manage affiliates through relevant platforms.
  • Brief the graphic designers on assets required for digital advertising.
  • Solidify brand positioning across all touch points and build awareness in the New Zealand market.
  • Manage campaigns and project timelines.
  • Compile learnings and insights from campaigns and share with the wider marketing team and key stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continued learning and seek new ways of doing things.
  
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 2-3 years managing and optimising performance marketing channels for an e-commerce or digital lead business.
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or similar.
  • Experience managing medium-large Google Ads accounts is essential.
  • Experience in managing paid social, native and affiliate channels.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads and other channels.
  • Analytically and technically savvy; the ability to use your initiative and be proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in managing marketing automation campaigns to drive engage new and existing audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects at once.
