About the company:

Own all marketing initiatives for a leading global asset management across two of it’s major retail assets. They have an excellent, strong cohesive team culture and offer a high performing yet rewarding work environment. Their offices are based in East Auckland.

About the role:

As their Marketing Manager, your goal will be to design, execute and manage all marketing initiatives, ultimately driving performance. 

You’ll be reporting into the Centre Manager, working closely with the Management team. You will have three direct reports.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, we are looking for someone who comes from a strong marketing background, with experience in the retail sector advantageous.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver retail engagement strategy alongside the Retail Manager and the annual asset strategy alongside the Centre Manager, turning these strategies into functional plans and presenting them to key stakeholders including updates on performance
  • Develop and deliver a data driven marketing strategy supporting their business plans and asset strategy
  • Plan and implement marketing and communication plans, with the overarching aim of maximising sales
  • Ensure marketing channels are optimised and up-to-date.
  • Understand the asset's customer profile and implement marketing initiatives against this
  • Understand key trend and retailer performance, understanding what factors affect key retailer performance
  • Review sales reports, and devise strategies based upon these
  • Collaborate on cross-centre research projects
  • Own the NPS+ Program, ensuring insights have actionable deliverables
  • Own monthly/quarterly sales reporting, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Participate in their weekend and late-night duty roster as required
  • Manage all aspects of the retail assets brand
  • Drive awareness of centre initiatives, ensuring communications are processed appropriately
  • Develop relationships with local stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing and Events Executive, ensuring digital platforms are delivered seamlessly
  • Manage their Customer Service Function
  • Own the accountability of the marketing budget

What you'll bring:
  • You’ll come from a similar Senior Marketing Manager role where you have had direct reports
  • Knowledge of the retail sector advantageous
  • Experience in budget management and business planning
  • Brand and campaign management experience
  • Results driven
  • Experience working on multiple projects at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fantastic interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively manage time by identifying key priorities and tasks in competing workloads.
  • Happy to work over the weekends on occasion when required.
