ABOUT THE ROLE: 

There are two Senior Project Manager permanent roles available that are newly created in the business to support on two large programmes of work that are rolling out across the business. You'll be able to work well and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and staff to see the bigger picture to ensure the right outcomes. 

You will play role in the delivery  initiatives aimed at supporting achievement of business goals. You will collaborate widely internally to achieve successful delivery as well as have the ability to manage a network of external relationships to help identify and implement improvements to their delivery practices.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive investment deliverables and outcomes by applying best-practice project management, governance, change management and benefits realisation disciplines.

  • Facilitate the definition of project brief, scope, objectives and deliverables.

  • Lead the planning, delivery and implementation of Technology projects.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to steer projects and outcomes.

  • Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation and budgets using appropriate tools.

  • Identify benefits of each project, and develop a plan for achieving and measuring benefit realisation and reporting on project results.

  • Define and schedule the resources and skills required to deliver each project.

  • Provide guidance, support and coaching to less-experienced team members.

  • Drive and manage the procurement of the products and services required to complete the project, including requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs) and scopes of work (SOWs) where applicable.

  • Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues.

  • Provide quality assurance on project deliverables to ensure project outputs meet business requirements.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships engagement and expectations, including regular reporting of project status, project budget management, risks and issues as appropriate.

  • Oversee and control project changes.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Ensure the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance to the change.

ABOUT YOU: 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a senior project manager.

  • Demonstrated reputation in the delivery of large, complex IT projects.

  • Knowledge and competence in project methodologies and project life cycle.

  • A PRINCE2 or PMP qualification is preferred.

  • Ability to get on with key stakeholders within an organisation.

  • Ability to uplift and take people on a journey.

  • Collaborative and a team player.
