ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a contract role - $40-50 per hour; with travel across the North Island. About 50% of your role will be outside of Auckland. You'll receive a car; meals paid for and accommodation when travelling.
In this role you will be working within the IT Operations team to deliver technology refreshes to all of their stores across the North Island.
You'll be travelling to stores 50% of the time to help them with their IT technology refresh. This could be supporting on self checkout machines; updating hardware; PC deployments; POS system connections etc. This does require you to be hands on too (for example, make sure cords and cables are connecting correctly; may need to drill a hole to put a cord through to the checkout machine etc).
The companies stores constantly need technology refreshed as the technology ages out. You'll be working on a continuous delivery model of store technology.
This role will see you visiting a store, install replacement technology, test, then move to next stores.
You'll be ensuring that the delivery effort is of a high standard. You'll report into a Senior Project Manager who is based in Wellington.

ABOUT YOU:
Experience with Windows; Windows Servers & Management; Routing; Switching & Networking
Has experience in an IT support or desktop support role
Gets excited about rolling out IT operations / new software & hardware to multiple stores
Good experience with IT systems - windows; deployment)
Gets excited about driving
Quickly absorbs new information and assess impact in a rapidly evolving environment
