ABOUT THE ROLE:
Within this role you will test a portion of the product independently, detecting and documenting software failures to a level they can be reproduced and corrected. You'll operate and maintain test environments and devices, design and execute test plans, track and maintain defects, design and write test scripts and scenarios, and will continuously review and update documentation to ensure it's accurate.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You'll operate and maintain test environments and devices, design and execute test plans, track and maintain defects, design and write test scripts and scenarios, and will continuously review and update documentation to ensure it's accurate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manual testing and configuring test environments across different platforms
- Performing regression test cycles and smoke tests for releases.
- Detecting software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
- Documenting anomalies and issues in a bug tracking tool.
- Operating and maintaining test devices.
- Writing test cases efficiently.
- Understanding technology related to product and debugging basic problems.
- Deploying and configuring test environments.
- Helping to design and execute test plans, recording and documenting results, and comparing to expected results.
- Updating documentation to ensure its accuracy.
- Excellent working knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
- A thorough understanding of testing/QA best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully contributing to development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Learns efficiently by understanding where to get information and understand new concepts.
- Seeks additional knowledge when needed but does not ask the same question twice.
- Ideally API automation using Python + Pytest capabilities
