ABOUT THE ROLE:
- First & Second level IT support to internal users
- Resolving problems on company Information/Communication Technology systems, includes windows, network connectivity, printers, browsers, mobile devices etc
- Implementing additions, moves and changes to computer and communication hardware throughout the company
- System security and administration
- Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
- Taking ownership of problems and being proactive when dealing with issues
- Responding to enquiries from staff and helping them resolve hardware or software problems
- Assigning or escalating calls to the relevant parties
- To provide a high level of service to both internal & external customers
- At least two years previous Helpdesk experience - level 1&2 support
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills and manner
- Experience of using call logging software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems
- Experience with using and troubleshooting within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation etc)
- Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office and Internet Browsers
- Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
