ABOUT THE ROLE: As an experienced developer, you will work as a cross-functional squad member who uses agile development methodology to develop flexible product solutions. You will be responsible for the design, creation, testing and maintenance of product solutions.
Although this is fully remote from anywhere in Auckland, the development team will meet once a week in the CBD for collaboration purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Discussing, planning and participating in ceremonies that enhance the product
Driving operational escalation and activities as part of DevOps construct
Reviewing current system and presenting ideas for improvement
Coding, testing, implementing and supporting software solutions in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps environment
Collaborating with squad members and stakeholders during Programme Increment (PI) planning and during the creation of iteration plans, team PI objectives, release and release planning, and product backlog
Providing feedback on user stories from a quality perspective, and promoting bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility and other QA concepts
ABOUT YOU: We are seeking someone with first-class communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. You'll have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant programming role and strong skills with React and Java or Kotlin.
