ABOUT THE ROLE

They have been building their digital team internally and now looking for a SEM Specialist to come on board and strategically build their SEM offering and managing their global markets as well as local. You'll have big budgets to work with locally and globally. You must be capable of implementing and managing paid search campaigns (including Google Shopping) while pro-actively making recommendations to drive great results.

The role has a lot of scope and you'd be very involved in the global strategy across their three core markets initially; with the intent to grow their smaller markets over time. 

The team is collaborative, supportive and they offer a strong growth trajectory. There is excellent flexibility offered as the team splits working from home and in-house. 

Key responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with local and international marketing teams to develop best-in-class search strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify market opportunity and forecast budgets.
  • Set up and manage paid search accounts following best practice and taking full ownership of Merchant Centre, MCC and all account infrastructure in Google and Bing.
  • Structure paid search accounts and write ad copy to make sure the campaigns are strategically aligned with business objectives.
  • Clearly identify KPIs for the search campaigns and ensure tracking is in place to measure performance accurately.
  • Monitor budget pacing, campaign results regularly to make sure performance is on track.
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Executing tests, collecting, and analysing data, identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Pro-actively make recommendations to improve campaign outcomes and rectify potential issues.
  • Provide comprehensive post-campaign reporting to clients on a weekly and monthly basis.
  •  Achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns using analysis of data.
