ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This is a great opportunity to join a market leading organisation in the Financial Services sector. They are going through a period of exciting change, and are working on many new initiatives with a big focus on IT and Digital. 

This is a newly created role in this organisation and will be working with the wider business on their Digital Products. There will be plenty of room to grow and develop. 

With offices based in Auckland CBD, they offer the flexibility to work from home or in their office, ideally 2- 3 days a week in office and the rest at home. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The purpose of this role is to provide high quality business analyst support to the wider business. Working in a project environment you will bring your Agile and Waterfall experience, and liaise with stakeholders. 
  • Develop and implement plans for delivery of Business Analysis requirements across assigned projects, adapting these plans as required throughout project delivery.
  • Within the context of assigned projects, analyse business processes, structures, and ways of working to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and tools relevant to the project.
  • Ability to create and manage user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Use process management software to develop process models and workflows, and associated collateral.
  • Use appropriate Business Analysis tools and techniques to elicit, validate, document, prioritise and trace requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
ABOUT YOU:
  • 5+ years Business Analysis experience
  • Agile experience, particularly in life insurance industry
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and requirements gathering
  • Experience with delivery involving multiple development teams
  • Working with diverse teams and stakeholders, and managing Agile projects where priorities frequently shift
  • Proficient with Agile project management tools and software, have experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria, and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new tools and methodologies quickly
  • Demonstrated experience across a range of business analysis skillsets
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft stack and integrated environments
  • Ability to ask the right questions and correctly understand the information received.
  • Elaborate ideas clearly to both business stakeholders and technical experts.
  • Manage stakeholder’s expectations
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas
