ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Asics are looking for a Digital Designer to be responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery for one their key hero brands. 

They want someone to take the creative license to push boundaries. 

There is the opportunity to lead / take ownership and work closely with the brand managers.

BM’s would work with saying what they need to achieve and this person would go about doing so / coming up with the ideas / pushing the boundaries of design. 

Key projects you'll work on will be across EDM; social; general marketing campaigns (billboards) and in-store. 

This role will report to the Marketing Manager and enjoy working with the wider marketing team - including 3 designers, 2 developers, 1 content creator and around 15 other marketing specialists.

ABOUT YOU: 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a digital-first design position
  • A portfolio demonstrating experience in designing for email, web and social media preferably with Ecommerce experience 
  • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including  Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
  • A good understanding of the principles of UX design
  • Ability to support the creative concepting and development of marketing campaigns
  • Be socially savvy and up to date with the latest trends and new developments in digital and design
  • Experience building emails with Mailchimp, Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms
  • Comfortable producing print and POS collateral  
  • Great attention to detail and ability to follow a brief and work with global brand guidelines
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Great communication skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage/prioritise time
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand full-time
Bonuses 
  • Experience with lifestyle or fashion retail including ecommerce
  • HTML, HTML5, CSS
  • Website design including customer journeys, UI design, conversion rate optimisation
  • Magento & Shopify experience
