This is an ASAP start contract which will run from 3- 6 months. Working in a collaborative team. Offices are based in South Auckland and they have hybrid working.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support and implement disaster recovery (DR) solutions across Azure environments.
- Create and manage Terraform runbooks for automated deployments.
- Rebuild and modernize the ERP platform within Azure.
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure, Terraform, and related cloud technologies.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues in workloads and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Automate deployment pipelines to accelerate delivery and enhance consistency.
- Manage, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure and associated services.
- Provide guidance and mentorship on DevOps practices and cloud engineering best standards.
- Enhance and standardise certificate and secret management practices.
- Senior level experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps.
- Proven ability to implement and support Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions across Azure environments.
- Experience creating and maintaining Terraform run books for automated infrastructure deployment.
- Background in rebuilding or migrating Dynamics ERP workloads into Azure.
- Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
