Pat Menzies is our dynamic multi-brand shoe store with 5 locations around the North Island + our active online store.

About the role:

We are looking for someone to lead the Pat Menzies brand with marketing and creative output. We are a high activity, fast paced team that likes to punch above its weight with fun brand campaigns and ongoing content centred around our loyal community.
This role is about taking control and leading the brand design across social channels, EDM, general marketing campaigns & in-store POS design.
You will come up with creative concepting campaign ideas and strategies, and execute them alongside the Pat Menzies team. You will have the support of our in-house marketing and development agencies. The roles focus in on the creative strategy and execution.  
Day to day things include:
  • Concepting, designing, planning and creative execution of campaigns
  • Coordination and design of POS / Posters including liaising with printers
  • Content creation – including videography, photography, animation & graphic design for all platforms
  • Website updates, including briefing and creation of banners, landing pages, icons and any other design decisions
  • Briefing, design & monitoring of eDM communication and strategy
  • Invoice administration
  • Liaison and communications with store & e-comm staff
  • Copywriting for website, social, emails and any other marketing communications
  • Social media content approval
  • Work closely with the development team on all aesthetic-based design decisions for websites
  • Anything else to lead the strategic direction of the brands, their identities and aesthetics
What you will have: 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a brand design or content role
  • A portfolio demonstrating experience in designing for email, web and social media preferably with e-commerce experience 
  • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
  • A good understanding of the principles of UX design
  • Ability to support the creative concepting and development of marketing campaigns
  • Be socially savvy and up to date with the latest trends and new developments in digital and design
  • Understanding of using digital marketing to grow a brand offering across multiple channels such as Instagram & TikTok
  • Experience with email and automation campaigns
  • Experience creating POS material
  • Understanding of SEO & SEM
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console
  • Strong written & proofing skills
  • Great attention to detail

Term and salary:

We are looking for a full-time employment role. Salary is flexible depending on experience and ability.
