About the role: The role of the Data Engineer is design, develop, and maintain the organisation’s data engineering capabilities, features, and solutions. This will involve research and product development, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and will assist in delivering reports and solutions that exceed their clients’ expectations. Key responsibilities include:
Producing data engineering models that meet strict quality and security standards.
Delivering automated and extendable data pipelines and tools, within budget and on-time.
Maintaining an excellent level of client satisfaction
Working closely with colleagues and third parties to continually improve data engineering capabilities.
About you: To succeed in this role, you will have a deep passion for data and for working in a purpose-driven team. You will be analytical and strategic in your thinking and have experience working with non-technical stakeholders to develop processes and features, providing clear and useful information. Key requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a Data Engineering position
Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and AWS products.
Knowledge of data analytics and Machine Learning.
Proven experience automating data pipelines and developing tools.
Be a confident team player, clearly communicating ideas and challenges.
Experience with current data engineering methods and tool chains.
