In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive business and market growth in the managed services space. From strategy to execution, you’ll own the sales process, build networks, preparing proposals, and securing new business to achieve growth and revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop business plans and sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Meet or exceed annual sales revenue, profit margin, and market share growth targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify high value opportunities within IT and managed services.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision makers.
- Prepare accurate proposals, costings, and pricing strategies to secure new business.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our IT services and solutions to identify and promote relevant offerings.
- Support service development by identifying opportunities and executing creative go to market strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing follow up, relationship management, and solution based sales.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within an MSP environment. This is critical to success in the role.
- Deep understanding of managed services, IT solutions, and service delivery models.
- Strong ability to research, analyse, and segment markets to target the right opportunities.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth and revenue targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
- A proactive, solutions focused mindset with a drive to deliver results.
