Our client is looking for their newest Business Analyst to join their PMO team!
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company with great people and a high-trust culture. You’ll be working on a range of internally facing projects as part of their big business transformation.
They have a range of new software solutions they offer large enterprise businesses and medium sized companies in NZ. They focus on business transformation projects and change management.
There is a lot of variety in the projects they offer but initially you will deliver on 2 key projects:
Data & Reporting Project - Working alongside a strong Project Manager, it is a great opportunity to get a solid understanding of the business and how things are run.
Process & System Integration Project – Working alongside international financial experts, you have an opportunity to get exposer on how things are run on a global scale.
You will be responsible for working with project, business and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness and deliver value via projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role focuses heavily on enhancing operational efficiency by mapping existing processes, drawing inferences from process details while considering business objectives and partnering with the project team to design new processes and tools, solve process related problems, minimize business risk and deliver the new solution.
This role will also educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes and train users.

The team all get on really well and the wider business enjoy socialising at work, having a cheers on Friday’s, and they offer great flexibility. 


  • 2+ years business analysis and process improvement experience 
  • Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, Value Stream Mapping.
  • Knowledge of PowerBi
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Ideally have customer facing experience 
  • Project management/leadership skills 
  • Excellent organisation skill
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to details
