About the Role
This role is driving change in a core part of the organisation’s strategy.  It will involve working across the vast majority of the organisation including the inspirational Development team, Finance, Digital teams, and Marketing and Innovation. You will likely be exposed to a raft of other digital initiatives and changes they want to make. Ultimately, how much impact you make on the organisation is up to you! This role is a perfect mix of putting in place robust data structures, systems and processes whilst also having the freedom of an in-house development team to execute at pace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Alongside the product lead and wider BA/product team shape the new processes, data and systems changes to facilitate our strategy
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams within the organisation on the data, process and systems changes needed and then deliver on these
  • Drive a development team to execute on internal changes needed to the proprietary ecommerce platform to meet strategic goals
  • Working with external vendors on changes, managing these from inception through to go live
  • Pick up other work items and work streams where time allows – this could be related to a vast array of business or customer facing change
Key Requirements
  • Ideally you would have had some exposure to PLM software in a food manufacturing environment. But not essential.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process would be useful as well as experience in working with ERP systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of how data flows through a business intersecting with both systems of engagement and systems of record
  • Have had time driving product development teams in particular knowing what it takes to ensure sustained velocity of teams
  • Working with external vendors
  • Proven experience in being comfortable in the detail and also able to jump out and explain concepts to non-technical people.
