RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and deliver the technology required to build and market premium products
  • Research up-to-date trends, technology and general information that effectively influences current and future functional plans
  • Actively problem solve during design using LAMDA methodology and address issues with performance and manufacturing as they arise
  • Effectively plan and co-ordinate design change all the way through from concept to production
  • Write clear documentation, tests, and recommendations for technical problems 
  • Collaboratively define, scope, prioritize, and estimate work 
  • Drive helpful conversations around technical issues and engineering practices, suggesting improvements and ideas as you see them 
  • Review code and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback during code reviews 
  • Triage, reproduce, and debug issues reported by other co-workers for our areas of responsibility 
ABOUT YOU?
  • Has some experience with C, C++ and Python, or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with Qt desirable but training provided
  • Familiar with embedded Linux desirable
  • Familiar with general hardware development 
  • Understanding of software engineering principles 
  • Understanding of engineering systems and processes  
  • Uses industry best practice design patterns
