ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be a key member of the team and responsible for building the mobile and web capacity related to the app, including support of existing features as well as building new features and improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keeping the company's vision and values at the forefront of your decision making and actions
  • Designing and building large projects independently with ongoing communication to stakeholders
  • Contributing to the project team process and aiding further improvements of the process
  • Providing mentorship to more junior team members
  • Collaborative involvement in the development of the company's tech strategy
  • Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
  • Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure
  • Expanding and improving the CI/CD capabilities
  • Building the company's platform with global readiness in mind
  • Diagnosing and rectifying issues identified by the Customer Experience team
  • Maintaining the company's framework, existing code structure, and the cloud environment
  • Assisting with bug escalations of a critical nature

ABOUT YOU:

In order to be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

  • A passion for mobile development and proven experience in a mobile development role
  • Experience developing and testing React Native
  • Desirable if you have experience with Realm, React, Redux, Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS
  • Postgres, Docker and AWS experience
  • An interest in design thinking and data driven decision making
  • An interest in shipping features iteratively utilising CI/CD practices
  • Curiosity and eagerness to explore and try new technologies to improve software products
  • A want to look for smarter, faster or more efficient ways of working
  • The ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently
  • The ability to manage conflicting demands to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

It is also highly desirable if you have previous experience in a SaaS startup and/or healthtech experience
