Working for a global, full service Technology Agency who work closely with their clients to deliver strategic solutions. This includes Security, Database Management and Development, Networking and Infrastructure Management. 

Based in Auckland CBD, they work to a hybrid model, where people normally come into the office a few days a week and when needed due to delivery timelines. 

A little bit about the role:

Responsible for the project life cycle from inception to deployment and post-deployment support, this role is crucial to honouring timelines, applying best practice and enabling other roles; such as support specialists, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to perform their specific function in each project in the most effective way possible.

▪ Drive the progress of critical and strategic projects towards key business objectives
▪ Deliver control, governance, and organisation to assigned projects
▪ Plan for and proactively disseminate upwards and outwards communication, and provide regular project status reports
▪ Prepare and manage project plans, milestones, and timelines
▪ Capture and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and decisions in an organized, structured and coherent manner
▪ Work with local and international stakeholders and other project managers to establish an overall plan, and actively manage dependencies across multiple time zones
▪ Monitor project status in comparison to cost/time projections, and respond to actual or forecasted changes

Who are you and what is your experience:
▪ Extensive experience in project management
▪ Experience delivering a broad range of IT infrastructure projects
▪ Ability to articulate the user impact and customer benefit of IT infrastructure design and deliverables into language suitable for executive sponsors
▪ Professional PM Qualification, e.g. PMP, Prince 2
▪ Experience in managing the end-to-end delivery of multi work-stream/complex projects
▪ Very strong stakeholder and vendor management skills and experience
▪ Ability to influence stakeholders, and build trust and credibility
▪ Excellent communication skills (Written, Spoken, and Presentation)
▪ Proficiency in using management software tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira)
