ABOUT THE COMPANY: 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading software distributor who have a supportive team culture. Their core business is represented software vendors overseas and developing their sales and marketing solutions in New Zealand. They work exclusively with global software brands and work with SMEs to large enterprises NZ wide. 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Product Brand Manager will be responsible to manage and grow the allocated brands in their channel community. You will play a vital role in ensuring the needs of the vendors and creating business opportunities with their resellers. You will maintain a current level of knowledge across products you are responsible for and work closely with the business development team. You'll be the brand guardian and go-to person for your brands, pro-actively resolving any issues; providing marketing materials to sales teams and working new and innovative ways to promote your brands to the market. 
  • The role of the Product Manager will act as the intermediary contact between your brands, internal stakeholders and our channel community.
  • Responsible for product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product life cycle.
  • You will need to maintain high levels of knowledge as the go-to person on your brands, quickly identifying problems or roadblocks and actively work to resolve them.
  • Arrange and attend frequent vendor meetings, both virtually and in person with an aim to discuss and review current strategies and develop new ones where relevant.
    • o This includes being realistic and/or adjusting vendor expectations in line with industry knowledge
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure vendor goals, strategies and expectations are clearly communicated to our community via the relevant channel along with proposing what will work to drive a ROI for the vendor.
  • Contribute to marketing channels with the writing of content that can be shared via eDM or socially for your brand

ABOUT YOU: 

- 3+ years experience in a marketing or sales role within the IT industry or exposure to It software 
- A passion and interest in software solutions
- Ability to work with sales teams and vendors 
- Managing multiple projects at once
- Great written and verbal communication skills 
- Good time management skills
- Stakeholder management skills
