ABOUT THE COMPANY: 

A lead e-commerce brand in the health and wellness sector, this role will see you managing and leading the optimisation of the businesses performance marketing channels contributing to increased website traffic and conversions. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

As the Head of E-commerce, you will play an integral role in the development and growth of this e-commerce businesses scope and reach. You will report directly to the CEO.

There is a strong focus on paid search optimisation, including their paid social and affiliated channels so you will need to be an expert in e-commerce optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the digital and e-commerce strategy, developing their e-commerce roadmap.
  • Lead the team of e-commerce and digital experts; there is an overall team size of 7 and you will have 3 direct reports.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, budgets, and resource needs.
  • Continually enhance the CX to improve e-commerce and digital marketing metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to continually improve customer experience and identify pain points.
  • Report on KPI’s and monitor onsite performance to drive increased sales and conversion rates.
  • Lead the ‘front-end’ commerce and CX systems by planning, researching, and overlooking the design.
  • Project manage website enhancements.
  • Develop and implement the ‘Digital Marketing Roadmap’ continuously driving an increase in customer numbers, sales and CVR.
  • Continuously optimise and improve the businesses marketing channels.
  • Take accountability for digital marketing expenditure and ROI.
  
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or similar.
  • Proven experience leading an ecommerce digital marketing team within a brand or retail environment.
  • Attain strong commercial acumen.
  • Methodological, analytical, data driven and most importantly results focused.
  • Experience leading and managing teams with direct reports.
  • The ability to maintain and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in analytical tools, primarily Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing medium-large Google Ads accounts is essential.
  • Strong proficiency of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads and other channels.
  • Analytically and technically savvy; the ability to use your initiative and be proactive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
