Job description
An IT service and support business for Primary Health, Disability Providers and Not For Profit organisations seeks a Business Development Manager to develop new relationships and nurture those existing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive change to utilise their relationship building and sales skills in a supportive and nurturing work environment.
This opportunity is Hamilton based so living in the Waikato region is paramount. However, the nature of this role will see you travelling a lot, so proximity to their offices is negotiable.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Be a champion of their software product developing deep relationships with new, existing, and prospective clients.
- Manage and maintain relationships with a broad range of people from customers to executives.
- Retain business and grow revenue through selling their ICT/Cloud solutions.
- Maintain commercial business acumen through providing advice and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Use market data to drive and develop your sales pipeline and opportunities to deliver targets.
- Provide reporting on accounts and sales performance.
- Embody qualities of trust and leadership, encouraging excellence and demonstrating initiative.
- Contribute to the preparation of long- and short-term forecasts, plans and budgets.
- Work together with the wider team and provide support to colleagues as appropriate.
- Uphold and understand principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi contributing to whanau ora for Māori.
- 2/3+ years in sales, account management or similar with proven experience in sales targets.
- Technical acumen; knowledge and experience with IT technology and cloud solutions with experience on healthcare applications a bonus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for making a positive change is imperative.
