Our client is a well-known purpose and health driven brand. They have a strong presence NZ wide and sell directly to consumers as well as have the opportunity to visit their clinic. They have a range of different distributors in NZ and have the core purpose to transform lives by guiding, empowering and supporting people in their wellness everyday.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a contractor to come on board and help shape and lead a big project for the company. They are wanting to move to a new ecommerce platform and system and use bespoke and off the shelf IT systems. The role is centered around optimizing their backend systems, simplifying their tech stacks across three businesses.
This is a chunky project where they require a senior backend Python Developer and you can work remotely across NZ. You'll also provide some guidance and support to a junior developer as well.
●Refactoring our backend to improve on and utilise our authenticated public api ●Clean up and refactor our internal management tool ●Move AWS lambda function pipeline to API ●General improvements to the platform for efficiency, scalability and reliability
ABOUT YOU:
●5(+) years software development experience ●Python development experience (Flask) ●Database management (PostgreSQL)
