 ABOUT THE COMPANY:

This company is a small B2B FinTech start-up and a current team of 3 who are looking at scaling their team. The business has a large trajectory of growth in the pipeline and are looking at taking their product to the next level. 

They already have an excellent customer base already with companies you will know. You will be based out of a shared co-working space in Ponsonby and working with a fun, social and passionate team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer to join as an integral part of a growing technology team to help design and implement a testing automation framework based on the business requirements and ensure complete test cover. You'll be across all things testing and write automated test suites that can be integrated into their CI/CD pipeline. You'll also manage testing REST APIs and apply your understanding of REST API standards. 

We need someone with very strong attention to detail as there is a lot of data involved that needs to be accurate. You'll be tracking and resolving issues with design before they make it to production. 

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone wanting to make a mark on something and take full ownership. You'll have the reins to lead and manage and build a testing team. 

You'll be partnering with the Head of Technology and have the ability to think outside of the box. 

ABOUT YOU:
  • You'll have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and the fundamentals of writing automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, etc
  • You'll be looking to make an impact and a difference 
  • Strong understanding of testing automation tools and best practice
  • Experience in testing REST APIs
  • Ability to work and be part of a small team 
  • Ability to jump up and provide support on other projects when required
  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline (nice to have)
